Understanding human nature, the way people think, can go a long way in driving sales for your business.  Psychology professor  Robert Cialdini, is famous for his “Principals of Persuasion”.  He outlines several basic human principals that give valuable insights as to why we do what we do.  Hint, we don't always do what's best for us.  The author, Dan Ariely, is also a pioneer in pointing out why we humans do irrational things, even though we know better.
