How To Build An Audience For Your Blog [infographic]

Every blogger dreams about having a highly engaged audience that cheers and re-tweets each and every post that's published.  While it's defiantly not impossible, to build a large audience of raving fans, it's also not easy.

One of the biggest things to understand is that it takes time (often lots of it) to build traffic for your website.  Most people give up on blogging within the first few months because it seems pointless.  The bloggers who've perceveired through this “quiet period” are the ones who get to meet great people, have interesting conversations and have an audience that wants to hear what they have to say.

So how do you build an engaged audience for you blog?

While there are no brainers like creating valuable content and using social media to spread your love, there are other more technical things like writing great headlines (4x's as many people will read your headline than the content under it), interlinking older content and enlisting guest bloggers.

Not to bore you any longer with plain old text, the folks over at Blue Glass have created a nifty infographic that explains the basics of what it takes to build that audience your blog deserves….well hopefully deserves.
